What is an expired task?
Since speed is one of the reasons clients use our platform, there is a time limit of how long you have to submit a task. You can view the countdown at the bottom right corner of the task. If you are unable to submit the task before it expires, the task gets reassigned to another annotator. This way, we can also minimise "hoarding" of tasks.
Can I recover an expired task?
No, you cannot recover an expired task. Expired tasks are automatically reassigned to another annotators. Only tasks that were submitted before expiry will be reflected on the Work Log.
Will I be paid for an expired task?
No, you will not be paid for a task that has expired. When a task becomes expired, annotations that are already drawn on it will not be saved.
