How to use the Draw tool?
The Draw tool has a “Snapback” feature by default. Any new annotations drawn with the Draw tool will snap to the boundaries of any existing annotations, which might be helpful in images crowded with annotations.
To use the Draw tool, you have two options: either click on a label from the toolbar on the right, or use the number shortcut key that corresponds to the label (1, 2, 3, and so on). If you were using a different drawing mode before, you can easily switch back to the Draw tool by clicking on the Draw icon and selecting the Draw option. Alternatively, you can simply press the "D" shortcut key.
Some tips that might come in handy:
- You can hold down the left mouse key and drag to add multiple points (just like a pencil!).
- To move around the image while drawing an annotation, hold the spacebar while dragging your mouse.
- Press Ctrl+Z to undo the latest point of the annotation while you are drawing.
- You can edit an annotation by clicking on it directly on the image, or from the Annotation toolbar on the right side of your screen.
- Click on the transparent point between two existing points while editing an annotation to add a new point.
- While editing an annotation, click on an existing point to remove it from the annotation.
