Will my Accuracy Score be affected if clients upload inaccurate or unclear instructions even though it’s not my fault?

No. The instructions provided by the client serve as strict guidelines followed by the internal team working on QCing your work. They are the basis by which the internal team determines whether an annotation is correct, wrong, or missing.

However, the internal team will be aware of inaccurate or unclear instructions, and will therefore not penalize you for annotation cases in those instructions as it is out of your control. Every annotation is checked against the instructions provided, if the instructions are unclear or inaccurate about a specific annotation, it will not be accounted for as a mistake on your end.  

The clients will be informed of the lack of clarity or accuracy in their instructions to prevent this issue from occurring in future projects and ensure that the annotators can perform to their best ability.
